changing TOC entry according to conditions

Post by jbananak »

Hi
I have one help project for two products. There are minor differences, but I have two topics at the beginning "Welcome to the A" (or "Welcome to the B") and "Introducing the A"(or "Introducing the B")
The product names in the help are controlled by a variable and works fine.
But I don't know how to put the condition/variable in the table of contents pane in tripane / menus in topnav so that it changes there. I guess I have to manually change the code for the TOC but I'm not sure how. See attached image.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Joanna

You can insert a variable in the TOC.

See the last note in the help here:

That's great. It worked for the TOC. Thanks. But do you know also how to fix the breadcrumbs - they still appear with the wrong name...
