Hi All,
I inserted an Mp4 video into my helpfiles and then deleted it, now when I try to do a new build I get the following error message:
Build failed: Access to the path 'C:\Users\louis.wilkinson\Desktop\HELPFILES\CRIS Reporting\CRIS ReportingV2\Output\Louis_Wilkinson\HTML5 - Top Navigation\Content\Resources\Multimedia\VR D1.0 MP4.mp4' is denied. , HTML5 - Top Navigation, Compiler, C:\Users\louis.wilkinson\Desktop\HELPFILES\CRIS Reporting\CRIS ReportingV2\Project\Targets\HTML5 - Top Navigation.fltar,
Does anyone know what I've done wrong and how I can fix it?
Build failed Access to the path denied???

Re: Build failed Access to the path denied???
Probably Flare just didn't clear out any internal dependencies to the audio file.
Close Flare. In Windows Explorer, delete the Analyzer, Output, and Project\Users folders. Re-open the project, and give Flare a few minutes to rebuild fresh Analyzer, Output, and Project\Users folders. Then rebuild the target. Does it work then?

RETIRED, but still fond of all the Flare friends I've made. See you around now and then!

Try closing the browser that you used to view the output.
I see this sometimes if I I build a target, open it in a browser, and view the topic with the video.
The browser seems to have some sort of lock on the mp4 file, so you have to close the browser before you can delete/replace it in the output folder.

Thanks Dave that solved the problem...I could have probably worked tat out for myself had I not gone into a blind panic thinking the project had become corrupted....And relax...
