Conditional text not appearing in heading

I've run across a very odd problem...I have part of a topic heading tagged with a ScreenOnly condition, and the tagged text is not appearing in my CHM output.

- The CHM target is set to include the ScreenOnly condition
- Using the Preview function, I've noticed this does not happen in any other "ScreenOnly" targets
- I've never noticed this behavior in any other topics
- Nothing out of the ordinary in the XML
- There is other ScreenOnly-tagged content in this topic, but only the tagged content in the heading fails to appear

Does anyone know of a reason why a condition would not work in only the heading of one topic and in only one CHM target?

Could you post the code for both the heading (with condition) and for a paragraph in the same topic that uses the same condition?

Heading (conditional text does not appear):

Code: Select all

<h1><MadCap:conditionalText MadCap:conditions="Primary.ScreenOnly">Controller - </MadCap:conditionalText>Weighting Tab</h1>
Paragraph (conditional text does appear):

Code: Select all

<p MadCap:conditions="Primary.ScreenOnly">To open the Controller, click <span class="bold">Capital Credits > Process > Controller</span>. For more information on opening the Controller, see <MadCap:xref href="CapCre_Controller.htm" class="RelLinkPageNumber">Controller</MadCap:xref>.</p>
The only difference between the two that I can see is that the condition is partially applied to the heading, but fully applied to the paragraph.

- I've run a test with your code and my CHM works fine (both heading and text).
- What version of Flare are you using?
- You could backup your project, close Flare, delete your Analyser and Output folders, then re-open Flare and try it again.
- You could create a brand new target (or topic) and see if that makes a difference.

I created a new target and that seems to have done the trick. Not sure what happened to the old target that would make it render conditional text incorrectly, but oh well :)
