I've been working on getting movies into my help project and I'm running into a variety of issues.
The next one I have to deal with is autoplay. I don't want them to autoplay. I have deselected that option. The code even says MadCap:Param_autoplay="false", but still, they autoplay.
Ideas?
movies or videos autoplay when I don't want them to

Not sure if it makes any difference, but what kind of movies are we talking about? QuickTime? YouTube? Mimic?

They are .mov files. Quicktime. Actually, I just fixed the problem, so I'm all set with this.
Thanks for your response.

Great to hear.
Always nice to post your solution for the benefit of anyone else who might have the same trouble and go searching through the forum archives.

How did I fix my problem? Should have shared that in my post earlier, but here it is.
I contacted Flare support, who told me to change the tag from <object> to <video>. I did that, and it worked. You can't use any of the settings within Flare that apply to the objects, but at least the .mov files play.
