I am working in Flare 2017 and have been noticing, among other buggy issues, that when I edit an image in Photoshop, save it as a, let's say 6.2x3.77 in. image @300dpi, it saves fine. When I place the image into a document and then choose to add arrows or text boxes in Caption, the image shows up as 96dpi resolution in print output.
I'll look in the File properties for the image in Capture and it has the 96dpi for print medium, 350.012dpi for web medium and it's just all wrong. Is it that Madcap resizes or changes resolution? Is there a setting I can change to stop this from happening?
Does Madcap Flare (or Caption) auto change img resolutions?
