Edit vertical alignment in top navigation menu

Post by MC Hammer »

Hello all,

I have problems with the vertical alignment on some items in the top navigation menu:
1. I would like the >> symbol to be vertically aligned (middle) with the menu entry it corresponds to. For example, in the attachment below, for "Net new alerts", the >> seems to be aligned with the menu item but I would it to be in the middle (vertical alignment set to middle), like in the preview example that is displayed when you have the skin opened (Styles tab) in Flare.

2. Additionally, I have been asked to changes things so that the 2nd level item ("New alerts" in screenshot above) is aligned with the parent entry ("New net alerts").

I have been having a look at the skin for the top navigation menu and more specifically at the menu and menu item entries, but haven't found any setting that would allow me to do this (or can I achieve what I am after by playing with the margin and/or the padding?).

Thanks in advance for any help or pointers.
