How to translate keyword entries

Hello
I am translating a Flare online help project from English to French. When I export the final French project to Flare and then build it, the Index (that is, my index entries) in the Flare output is still in English. Here is my question: Where do I translate the individual keywords so that they are automatically generated in French index in the final Flare project?
I am using Lingo 10. I did not flatten my text, so I see all the keyword, variable and font tags, as is. I simply translate the segments making sure to add the tag in the correct location in French.
I searched for an Index.llindexmap file that other members referred to in other posts. I cannot find it in my list of files requiring translation. I can however, find my variables file.
Oh and I am new to Lingo.Before Lingo 10, I used Wordfast.
