I have an HTML5 output and I have just recently started adding glossary terms into my project in order to have the term definitions show as a result when users do a search for the term. The goal is to quickly and efficiently give users the information they are searching for. The problem that I've run into is that the glossary term only shows up and displays the term definition when that term is the only thing that is searched.
For example, I have a "RAM" as a glossary term with a definition. If I do a search for the word RAM then on the search page I get the definition of the glossary term followed by links to relevant topics. But if I search "what is RAM?" then the glossary term definition does not display, I only get search results. I've added attachments that should show what I'm seeing.
Does anyone know if there is a way to have the glossary term definition show in the search results anytime the full term is included in the search? Or if not, is it possible to define accepted variations of a glossary term so I can manually enter potential search phrases (ideally this would still only show the original term in the results, and not the variation)? The only solution I can think of is to add a glossary term for each search phrase, such as "what is RAM"

I don't think you can do this - adding the phrases to the glossary definition would work, but isn't feasible to do considering all the terms and possible variations.
In fact, if you use questions like what is ram, you'll get very poor results.
The search will only show topics containing all of the words, i.e. both what and ram.

Hi,
I am not a Flare expert, and I haven't tried myself what I assume:
I would expect that adding "What" and "is" to Flares stop word list should help, at least when search is not entered with quotes.
Please correct me, if I'm wrong.
Kind regards,
Sabine Kamprowski
