MadCap:conditionalText in output

I'm generating HTML5 output, and I've noticed that I'm getting MadCap:conditionalText elements in my output.

<MadCap:conditionalText data-mc-conditions="Condition.Name">Click</MadCap:conditionalText> <b>Save</b>

I'd prefer it if these tags were excluded from the output, as I feel it exposes a bit too much of our implementation. Is it possible to do this?
