Hi,
Simple question. Where do I get the info to create an online help that would feature the help of various versions of a product? Let's say I want my home page to offer online help for FictionSoft V1, FictionSoft v2 and so on. I can't find this info. Can anyone help?

I build five separate targets and use conditions in the topics to say which text appears in which version.
A topic page will contain text with no conditions, text marked with a condition for Fictionsoft1, text marked with a condition for Fictionsoft2 and so on. I currently work with five versions.
I have five targets, one for each version currently in use, in the conditions tab for each target I select the version text I have marked. Any text not marked with a condition appears in all versions.
when I publish my five versions I have five folders. You could then create a web front page where the customer could choose the version or in our case the developers have linked the relevant help to the customer's software. Customers using Fictionsoft1 will link to that version of the help. Our deployment team know where to locate the web help so the software can access it.
