After installing 2017 R2, my TopNav displays incorrectly

I have a custom TopNav Skin. After installing the 2017 R2 update and compiling, the skin is not using the styles from my Mainstyles.css anymore.
It appears to be ignoring a good number of the styles on the logo, the breadcrumbs, etc. When I inspect the elements, I see that it is using Styles.css only.

I see that some other folks are reporting issues with R2. Anyone see this issue and if so, any proposed solution?

I'm on deadline! (should have known better than to update)
Just uninstall?
Has uninstalling the update fixed the issues others are seeing?

If you're on a deadline, just uninstall 2017r2.

How have you customised the skin?

If you've edited properties in the skin editor and they don't work, then that's a bug.

If you've customised the skin by including some additional styles in your CSS, then that's not a bug.
I do this too and it's a risk you take when you tweak parts of the CSS - so if things change, then it's up to you to fix it.
