Default/global table display setting (fit to ...)?

Post by skwpt »

I have a table style that defaults to "fit to window." I don't recall configuring that setting, so I can't figure out how to change the default to something else, such as "fit to contents."

I have examined the style editor and the source, looking for an element that might control this setting, but there is no "fit" or "table-width" element, and I don't think overflow is what I want. I can change the setting table by table, but I'd rather avoid that.

If I knew the proper keyword to use, I'd look up a solution in the Flare docs or this forum, but my attempts have failed. Does anyone know?

Support sez that a global, change-all setting doesn't exist. In other words, I can't modify a table stylesheet to change the autofit width of all existing tables that use that style (e.g., from "fit to window" to "fit to contents").

A table's autofit properties are set when the table is created.
