onclick code for toolbar javascript

Post by cayennep »

I've added a custom toolbar item and want it to link to support.

I used to have this saved but don't find it, and none of the suggestions I'm reading are working.

Can anyone advise? there are a lot of ways to do this but not sure the specific flare application (and not js expert)

thanks

Hi,
This is done in the skin.
From the Project Organizer, open the TopicToolBar skin, and select the Styles tab.
Find your custom button, and expand its options.
Expand the Event option.
Enter the javascript command to be executed in the Click: event option. For instance, if you want to open your support page, enter something like

Code: Select all

window.open('http://support.company.com','_blank');
Save out.
After generating, your button will open support.company.com in a new page.
Is this what you meant?
