maintaining pinned styles in the style list

After I pin styles to the top of the style list, how do I make them stay there when I open a new independent project?

Browse in windows explorer to this folder in your existing project:
<Project Name>\Project\Users\<Your Name>

Copy PinnedStyles.xml to the same folder in your new project.
