Hyperlink or Image Button on Online output

Hi,

I want some image buttons(links) on my home page of online output.
I do not know whether it will be hyperlink or special buttons to open another topic within the project.

My requirement is,
1. Need 6-8 image buttons('About product', 'Available services', and 'different modules name'...etc) on home screen, by clicking those button it will take user to the respective topic.

2. Can we increase the height of header(containing search option) in home page only ?

Hope I have cleared my issue.
