I can't use a vector logo in a skin??
I can't use a vector logo in a skin??
Why won't Flare let me insert my client's logo in .eps format in the skin for their help file? Hitting "Ctrl+" just twice to enlarge text when I view a build makes the logo look fuzzy as a jpg file. No one else has an issue with this? I can't find a single word about it anywhere here or in the Flare help. Maybe I'm missing something obvious?
Re: I can't use a vector logo in a skin??
I don't think .eps files work on the web, so it might be that Flare is converting it to a jpg or gif behind the scenes. Can you save the eps as an svg (scalable vector graphic) file and try that?
Re: I can't use a vector logo in a skin??
We are using SVG files for proper scaling, but these can't be used directly. Instead, I used a placeholder for the image in the skin and then overrode the image in the CSS with the correct SVG file. I did submit a request for enhancement to allow the use of vector images, so it probably wouldn't hurt to have more people do the same.
Re: I can't use a vector logo in a skin??
Thanks, both of you. I'll see if I can figure out how to do that with an SVG. And I will make that enhancement request for sure. It's surprising to me that there aren't lots of people clamoring for this.
