Tracked changes in snippets not showing in Word output

Hi,

We track all changes in our files. We provide Word documents showing the tracked changes to our reviewers. I have noticed that tracked changes in snippets do not seem to appear as tracked in the Word output. It looks like:
- Additional text is added
- Deletions are not deleted (still there)
- Tracked change formatting (red text for new text and strike-through for deleted text) is not showing

This is strange because in the PDF output, the tracked change formatting is showing.

Is there something we can do to get this working? Is it a bug?

I have attached screenshots showing the Word and PDF output.

The tracked changes show fine for topic files, but not for snippets.

It is 2023 and I am having the same issue. Is there a resolution in the works or a workaround until one is found?
