Hyperlink Issues

I am having two issues with hyperlinks;

1. When I insert a hyperlink, one of my Style IDs is not being presented as an option. It is most definitely in the master stylesheet but I can not see it or select it.

2. I can choose another Style ID and it seems to be fine when I view it in the XML editor. I can get to the link. However, in the WebHelp output it is just plain text that is not linked.

This just started happening and, to my knowledge, nothing changed. I keep back ups of projects for each release...sort of freezing the project in time. In the last backup project, the functionality works as expected. The Style ID is available and the hyperlinks work correctly. Thinking I may have screwed up something in my current project I copied the backup. Lo and behold, I have the same issues in the copy. So now I'm at a total loss. If I didn't know any better I would say it had something to do with the date since the copy is using today's date for the project folder, but I know that's crazy.

I downloaded r3 today, but this was happening both before and after I did so. This was all working fine the last time I worked on the project, which was last Thursday.

Anyone have any ideas?

Could you post what's in the Text Editor for the problematic bit? We might be able to spot something.

Thank you. The bulleted list item in red below is the one that is not working. All of the others are working as expected.

<ul MadCap:conditions="Output Tags.ScreenOnly">
<li class="BulletedText"><a class="Link" href="Enable Currencies at the Org Level.htm">Enabling and Managing Currencies at the Organization Level</a>
</li>
<li class="BulletedText"><a href="../../../8. Supplier Management/Catalog and Order Config/Tasks/enablecurrencies.htm">Enable Currencies at the Supplier Level</a>
</li>

Confirm that the topic you're trying to link to really is at that location. Have you changed the filename or anything recently? If you go back to your XML Editor screen and re-do the hyperlink then try building it again. You might find there's a very small difference between the bit that works and the bit that doesn't.

Oh yes, I've tried re-linking it many times and also adding new links elsewhere in the project and I get the same problem. Any new links do not work properly in the output. I also am having the issue with the Style ID not being available so I really think I hosed something "linky" :)

My default actions when something odd happens is to close the project then delete the Analyzer and Output folders. If that doesn't fix it, shout louder and see if anyone else comes up with any suggestions. If they don't, contact Tech Support.
