Maintenance renewal

I purchased flare with a bronze package last year, and just received a renewal notice. I want to confirm that if I don't renew the maintenance, flare can still be used but not able to update to higher versions, is my understanding correct? (Meanwhile I have to persuade my boss to allocate an additional budget for the maintenance plan... :evil: :evil: )

Hi Laurence,
Your understanding is correct, as far as I'm aware.
If you are not on a maintenance plan, you will still be able to use Flare.
However, you won't get free product updates/bug fixes or upgrades to the next version, or access to Madcap support.
You have the option to purchase an individual support call, if you need it, but I would guess that works out pretty expensive.

It depends if it's a perpetual or subscription licence...
