Hi,
I'm using Flare on AWS EC2 and today I have increased the resources of the instance so it will handle the software better.
The issue is now Flare requests for new licensing, how can I use my old licensing on the upgraded EC2 instance?
Thanks,
Gal.

Re: Flare request for new licensing after instance type chan
I suggest you get in contact with MadCap support to have this sorted out. I bet Flare thinks it is a different system.

Yes, best to contact MadCap in this case, and they can remotely invalidate the installation so you can "install" it again.
In the future, before you make changes to your AWS system, you will want to open Flare, and go to the Help ribbon. Click Deactivate Product. Then make any changes to your system. Then re-open Flare, and in the same place, reactivate Flare. Flare will even remember your license key, so this is a pretty painless process.
