I have a TOC page which includes a Flare TOC; an output toc proxy (I did not create the original file, so I can't speak to the toc proxy choice). For some reason, the generated TOC is very pale, a super light gray. The manually entered title looks just fine.

The toc proxy says it uses the p.toc1-etc styles, so I looked at those and put the color simply at black (it used to be the odd Madcap green, equally pale).

Thoughts on how to get a normally weighted font here? This is for a PDF target.

Please ignore. I found yet more places to change the font colors. I thought I understood css inheritance, now....
