Export Flare reports to CSV

Post by IFU »

Is there a way to export a Flare report to CSV? For instance, I've created a report that lists all the images in my project and gives me which files the images are linked from. I can view the report in a browser but I need a tabular format. I know how to export "canned" Flared reports to CSV but not the new reports I create myself. Thanks .Isabelle

Sounds like you've used on of the "static" reports, so no, there's no auto-magic way to export a report to CSV. My workaround has been to view the report in a browser, copy all the lines I want to export, paste them into Word, do some magic to turn it into a table and then copy the table's rows and paste into Excel for even more magic (like sorting... duh...)

Have you explored the different "dynamic" reports that are available on Flare's Analysis ribbon (as of 2018 r2) to see if any of those get you close to what you want? Those reports have toolbar buttons for exporting all rows or selected rows to CSV.

RETIRED, but still fond of all the Flare friends I've made. See you around now and then!

Thanks Nita for confirming what I suspected. I did have a look at the reports on the Analysis "ribbon" but could not find what I am looking for - a "where used" report for snippets and images...
