Inconsistent file status when using Flare to switch branches

We use Flare with Git and recently have been getting inconsistent results when we try and use Flare to switch branches. Here are some of my team's findings:
1) switching branches from within Flare now takes an unusually long time (5 - 10 minutes or longer). I had one crash while attempting to switch branches.
2) When I switch branches using the Flare interface, I *sometimes* (but not always) get incorrect Committed or Modified files appearing in my Pending Changes list. However, if I close Flare and then re-open, those files are gone.
3) If I switch branches using the command line while Flare is closed, I see no incorrect files in my Pending Changes. Everything seems to work properly if I only use the command line to switch between branches.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these kinds of problems using Flare/Git?
