Mini TOC sort at the start of each topic

Post by Arpita_17 »

Hi All,

I was thinking of implementing something but not sure how to go about it.

In each topic, is there a way we can include some horizontal TOC that show the topics on that page by their heading? Thanks

You should be able to do this with a menu proxy set to use headings, depending on your version of Flare:

You'd need to play with the css (based on the output) to get it looking how you want, and that might be a complex task.

This perfect... thanks a bunch. :D

Just one more thing...right now the proxy displays as using up the entire top of the page. Is there a way I can define it as a right hand container sort. Please find attached an example of it.

Sorry, we're about at the limits of my knowledge.

There's a lot of customisation available if you edit the menu skin component. See if this topic helps.

It's all CSS, so you should be able to use your browser's inspector tool to find the specific CSS element and modify it the way you want it. I will point out that you can have multiple menu proxies. One that is default, that shows the context and another that shows a browse sequence or something similar. I'm not sure about headings from the topic, however.
