In one of my Flare 2019 projects, the option to update links after renaming a topic or folder is no longer presented. This occurred, it seems, after I inadvertently selected Do Not Update links after renaming a content folder. Since then, the option is not presented.
Is there a way to re-enable this or otherwise cause Flare to present this option (I must have links updated)?
This only affects one Flare project. Other projects behave normally.
Update links disabled when renaming files and topics
Re: Update links disabled when renaming files and topics
Possibly that time you said not to update links broke all the links to the items in question. It would have broken all links except ones between files in the moved folder. Did you try moving the folder back to its old name first?
Flare doesn't ask the question if there are no links to break.

This is not normal behavior and is an indication that the database of dependencies that is stored in the Analyzer folder has gotten corrupted. But there's an easy fix to get Flare to behave again.
Close the project and quit Flare. In File (Windows) Explorer, navigate to where the project is stored. Delete the Analyzer folder, as well as the File Sync folder (if present). Reopen the project and give Flare a few minutes to rebuild the database of dependencies that the Analyzer folder stores. You should be good to go after that.
