Hi
I have certain examples included in my project file which include dates. Example: Feb 10, 2017; Mar 10, 2017 and so on. These are static dates included in the examples used to explain a specific functionality.
Need to know if there is a way to display these dates in 2 different formats in the output. We have clients in different geographies, hence need the output generated for US to display in the US date format and the output generated for UK/Australia to be displayed in the UK date format.
We use variables to distinguish and display certain words in US and Australia format respectively. Example: Variable for "Organization" is Organisation in UK output and Organization in US output. However for static dates I cant use a variable. Please help.
For US output, it should display as Feb 10, 2017, whereas, for Australia/UK output it should display as 10 Feb 2019.
Please advise.

Re: Date format in Output
How is a static date different from any other phrase, and why can't you use a variable?
But anyway, the solution lies in typing both versions, and wrapping them in conditions. It would look like This DateThat date in your project, but only one version would be used for either target.

Re: Date format in Output
Given that the dates are static, I too would go with variables as my first choice. If you don't want variables, I agree with BedfordWriter's advice to create two conditionalized versions of each date. If you use a given date (in its two formats) in multiple places, I'd put it in a snippet that I could drop in where needed.
