Prevent navigation bar from collapsing

Is it possible to force this open at all times and not collapse if someone resizes their window? We have issues where users are unable to get the bar back after resizing. The only setting I could find relating to this is the Navigation Panel Hide Arrow, but this only allows you o change the color.

Using Flare 2017 r3 with an HTML 5 project.

I'm having trouble visualizing what you're referring to as the "navigation bar collapsing". Please provide a few more details, particularly what flavor of HTML5 output you are generating: tri-pane, top nav, side nav.

Hi Nita,

This is the default layout for an HTML 5 project. The layout has a title section at the top, navigation area on the left (Contents/Index/Glossary), and to the right is the topic content. I am referring to the section that contains the Contents/Index/Glossary and table of contents for the manual. There is a left arrow that allows you to collapse this area and it also does it by itself when you resize the window. We want to prevent it from auto-collapsing.

I'm assuming you're using a Tripane skin.

Open the Tripane skin, go to the Setup tab, and deselect Enable Responsive Output.

That switches off responsive output, so the navigation menu will never collapse for Tablet/Mobile.

It's not actually doing the same as collapsing the menu using the icon, as that's only in desktop view.
When you resize the window it's switching to responsive tablet/mobile view (which shows a menu icon in the header).
