Table Properties Autofit setting not sticking

Hi.
I want my table widths to be 80 percent. I set that value in the Table Properties dialog box and click ok and this works on most tables. However, on other tables no matter how many times I set the width in the Table Properties dialog box, Flare ignores it and keeps the width setting at Auto. The only way I can change it is to right-click the Table bar at the top of the XML Editor and select Table Size from the context menu. That works 100 percent of the time. Everything is set to default values and the tables only contain simple text.
Anyone got an idea of what is causing this? Thanks in advance.

Okay, so, never mind. I found that I have to select the Autofit to window option for this to work. That said, why is this setting available when the Autofit to contents option is selected?
