Description on homepage disappears at a certain size?

Our team is outputting to an HTML5 output. Our skin is set to be responsive. But what we are finding is that if we re-size the window manually, the descriptions on our home page disappear after a certain size.

Seems fine up to 775 * 517

When I inspect the element of the disappearing text, at normal screen size, I see this:

Can anyone suggest or help us troubleshoot? When I look at the text editor of the home page where that text is located, I see this:
<p class="home-desc">Are you new to our software? Check out our Getting Started guides!</p> But when I look at our stylesheet I don't see anything that might indicate that the text should be hidden, or disappear, at a certain size? Is this something I would find in our skin? Or... ?

When you inspect the page at the smaller size, can you find the text? For example, is it shifted off to the side or hidden under a graphic? If you select the text in the HTML (text editor) it should highlight on the rendered page. You should also see the CSS being applied to it in the CSS panel.

Have you checked the CSS for changes to the paragraph style in the media query that handles the smaller screen size?

Thank you! It looks like we were using different classes on our home pages, and we've managed to fix the problem.
