Hi,
My team are trying to find a way to mark out certain topics in a PDF as being exclusive to a certain locale (e.g. this topic is only suitable to UK users, this topic for US users, etc.). The ideal would be to have a flag icon appear beside or opposite the topic header. I attached a mockup of what I mean.
I tried to use specific page layouts for this but it isn't suitable, partly because we want more than one topic to a page, and partly because by default all of the topics inherit the page layout from the topic above, which means too much management if we move topics around.
Does anyone have a suggestion of how to achieve this, or alternatively, other solutions to display locale to readers?
Many thanks in advance!

Could you use a div for each language that you wrap your language-specific content in?

Thanks ChoccieMuffin!
The different locales are on a topic by topic basis, rather than paragraphs within a topic.
But the alternative we have thought of is to include a "note box" in a div at the top of each topic to say - this content is only applicable to X readers.

Re: Display an icon at the top of a topic
Similar to the <div> idea, I suspect that you could create specific topic <body> styles which include the desired icons. When you add a new topic, you can set the style class of the body tag to the appropriate region, or leave it as default if it is generic information.

I'd suggest using a div rather than a body class. AFAIK, body classes will be lost when producing PDF outputs.

Re: Display an icon at the top of a topic
Thank you all for these suggestions!
I tried the <body> class at first, and it worked great in the editor, but had very mixed results in the output - as Dave Lee suggests, seems like the body classes didn't make it to the PDF.
I ended up applying a <div> to the heading of the topic with the icon as a background image, and it works a treat! ChoccyMuffin, sorry for disregarding your suggestion at first - I had my mind fixed on applying something to the topic as a whole so I couldn't picture how to achieve it with the <div>.
The only weird part is that when I apply the <div> to the heading, Flare removes the page break between the affected topic and the topic above. That's no issue for our documentation as we don't have page breaks between the topics in question, but it's a strange thing to happen.
Thanks again everyone, really appreciate the input!
