Topic with two columns - possible?

I'm transferring my company's API documentation to Flare, and I want to have topics with explanations on the left half of the topic and code samples on the right (in code snippets).
Is that even possible? If so, how?

Hello,
why do you not use a table in your source?
Not sure wether it will do anything you want.

Maybe responsive layouts will work? I think this is what Flare does with their snippets which show content on the left and an image on the right, although my memory is fuzzy on this point.

Thanks SKamprowski, I was hoping to avoid the need to add a table to a whole bunch of topics, but it seems the only option.
