Hello,
We have a online help project in Flare and use several SFTP destinations for different targets in the online help project. In the directory path in the destination files we are using a version number. Every time we are publishing a new version we change the version number in the directory path. This causes the credentials to be reset and has to be filled in again. Other Flare users who also work in this project must fill in the credentials too, because they are not saved in the destination file. This is quite annoying. Anyone have this problem too?
Where are the credentials saved? It seems they are saved in the user profile in Windows, but I'm not sure.
Where are a destination file credentials saved?

Re: Where are a destination file credentials saved?
Basic passwords get stored in the Destination file:
Do you have the option to use Public key autho? That shouldn't be affected by changes to the paths.
Code: Select all
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<CatapultDestination
Version="1"
Comment="This is my publish destination"
Host="ftp.myftpserver.com"
User="MyAccountId"
Password=""
Directory="public_html"
Port="22"
ViewUrl="http://www.madcapsoftware.com/"
Type="sftp"
SftpServerValidation="validation-none"
SftpAuthentication="authentication-password"></CatapultDestination>Trent.
