chm to html5
chm to html5
We are planning to migrate the software help from CHM to HTML5. Is there a way in MadCap to configure the content output so that assigned help ids for CSH for the program developer to be automatically included in the HTML label?

Re: chm to html5
I don't really understand what you mean.
If your old CHM help was produced using Flare, then you don't really need to change anything. In your alias file, you will have linked each Identifier/Value to a topic. Your application will currently use the Value in the CSH link to the CHM file, but that same Value can also be used in the CSH link to the HTML5 output.
(CSH links to the HTML5 output can use either the numeric Value or the Identifier text, whereas CHM only supports the Value).
So the only thing that changes is that your application needs to open the HTML5 help instead of a CHM file, but the Value it uses doesn't change.
