Fixed Side-Menu does not follow scroll

Hello fabulous Flare family!

I recently added a fixed side menu to one of my topics, the links work beautifully but the feature that makes the items in the side menu become active when you scroll past them (I am sure there is a name for that... I just don't know it) is not working properly...
About halfway through the topic, it just gives up and keeps the one link active and ignores all the other headers I scroll past...

Has this happened to anyone else?

I only see this when I have headings at the end of a topic, and there isn't enough content below the headings to allow them to reach the top of the page.
The highlight only changes when a heading reaches the top of the page, so once you reach the bottom of the page the highlight will stop at the last heading.

Thanks Dave for the reply.
My situation is extra odd because a lag starts after the third heading and it gets increasingly worse until it just stops tracking at the middle point. I might try rebuilding the topic from scratch...
