HI all,
I´ve seen the following in our list elements:
<ol>
<li>A list element without nested <p> tag.</li>
<li><p>A list element with nested <p> tag.</p></li>
</ol>
Both varants are working fine. May it be true that that the second version with nested <p> tag ist the BETTER cleaner way for the heritance?
And why are both versions possible or better ask: Why have I both versions in the code?
Thx.

Re: p-style nested in list elements required
The first version is less cluttered and contains less code. The second version is when you need to have additional content in a list item, such as a continuation paragraph, a table - more or less anything. So there is a place for both, as long as you set any specific styling for a <p> inside a <li> using a complex selector "li p" in your stylesheet. I have both in my projects and I'm perfectly happy to have both.

Re: p-style nested in list elements required
thanks but is there a rule, in which situation Flare inserts the one or the other version or have I the possibility to set the on or the other version by clicking without hacking the code?
Because I´ve both and do not why

Re: p-style nested in list elements required
Flare has added paragraphs in lists by default since 2020r2.
