I am able to use .svg files without a problem in my topic files, but when opened the HTML5 - Top Navigation file in the Skin Editor, went to Styles > Header > Logo and selected my company's logo image in a .svg format, Flare crashed. Hard. This surprised me since the file type was supported in the topics.
When I started again to try linking to the logo.svg file in the Skin Editor, I checked the "Files of type" field in the Open File dialog box, and saw only the .png, .jpg, .jpeg, and .gif file formats available.
So am I correct in inferring that Flare does not support .svg files in the skins?
Is there any kind of workaround to use a logo.svg file with the skins? My UX designer says it would be much better to use that file type instead of the .jpg file type I am currently using, as the image won't pixelate then if readers zoom in.
Thanks,
Tracey

You're correct that skins don't support SVG files.
You can use CSS to override image used for the logo though - see this post: https://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?p=131923#p131923
