Hiding topics from side-navigation

Post by IFU »

Is there a way to hide topics from the side navigation menu in HTML 5 output?
Apologies if this has been discussed before. I could not find anything.

Sorry for the delay. The forums have been having problems of late and, sometimes, I've not been able to post.

It's not clear to me whether you're talking about hiding things from the Side Nav menu or from a menu that is generated with a menu proxy and that floats beside a topic's contents.

The menu just displays what's in your TOC, so if you don't include topics in the TOC (or exclude them using conditions), then they won't appear in the menu.

The topics will still be included in the output, provided the target setting Content to include isn't set to only include content linked from the TOC.
