HTML addreess bar displaying giberish

Hello,
Is there a quick way to display a "clean" address bar in my HTML? At the moment I see a long long address with underscores, percentage signs and lots of other junk.
example -
/docs/Content/BookTopics/3.14/What's%20New.htm?tocpath=What%27s%20New%7C_____0

want it to be -
/docs/Content/What's_New.htm

Is there a check box somewhere to select?
