cross refs have random numbers

When using the filename without path i get a preview showing the filename as expected,

when I then build the target I get random numbers on the end of the file name

how do I get the cross-reference just be the name of the file

this is for PDF output btw

That is indeed weird. Have you examined any of these xrefs at the code level to see what’s going on? Maybe there are residual bookmarks from the imported source that you need to go through and remove. Just an idea. That’s where I’d start to troubleshoot.

I have checked and cannot see anything odd in the code, additionally, I have continued doing the same process in other places in my project and am getting a varied response sometimes it has the numbers sometimes it doesn't
