Menu proxy : remove empty headers?

Hi, is there a possibility to remove empty headers from the menu proxy, for example through a script ?
See attached screenshot - the one marked with a red border is an empty <h2></h2> tag.
For now, when we notice this, we remove those empty tags, and rebuild the output.
But it's error-prone; it would be nice to prevent this by an automatic script that filters those empty ones out for example.
