When I select a folder as the scope of a search or a spell check, Flare displays the folder select dialog. In this dialog, the folders are never displayed in alphabetical order. Flare displays the items in alphabetical for my coworkers, but not for me.

I don't see any preferences in Flare that would seem to control this behavior. My Windows region and language settings are set to the US and US English.

When the folder list is long, this behavior is maddening.

Does someone have ideas about what might be causing this?

In Windows File Explorer, there's a button for sorting by file name, date modified, etc. Perhaps that is affecting it? It's on the View tab in File Explorer.

Thanks for the suggestion. That didn't fix it. FWIW I don't see the logic to my current sort order; it's not alphabetical, it's not by modification date, etc. It looks random to me.

It was worth a try as I'm pretty certain there isn't anything in Flare that would allow rearranging/sorting the contents explorer.

Have you tried the old trick of deleting the Analyzer folder? I'm only just getting back into Flare after a stint with other products, so perhaps just search the forums for the exact details of what to delete, rather than taking my word for it at this stage.

Thanks for the suggestion. I typically don't have an analyzer folder in the first place, so I that won't resolve the issue for me.
