Hi all,
if a header row of a table contains a heading, the heading is correctly listed in the PDF bookmarks. However, if a table gets longer than a page, the table is continued on the next page, again with the repeated header row and the corresponding heading. This leads to a second (third, fourth…) bookmark in the PDF, too. Since several bookmarks with all the same title are not necessary and look wrong, is there a way to suppress the repeated bookmark entry automatically (without disabling the repeated heading on the page, of course)?
Thanks for any input,
Bernd
Suppress repeated table headings in PDF bookmarks
Re: Suppress repeated table headings in PDF bookmarks
This is an old topic but there is an option in the target to prevent non-TOC entries from being added to the bookmark pane.
Re: Suppress repeated table headings in PDF bookmarks
Thanks @AlexFox,
this is good to know, however, the heading in question was supposed to appear once (at the first appearance, when the table starts) in the bookmark pane. So the only way to solve it back then when I've asked the question was to add an invisible heading right before the table, and to use a non-heading style for the repeated heading in the table.
