HTML5 Tripane header: missing logo image & blank bgr

Post by Paul_N »

I'm making output using HTML5 with the Tripane skin. For no reason I can find, in the generated help the logo png image is missing (although I can still click on its location to return to the homepage) and the header background colour is white/blank rather than our corporate blue.

It's a real puzzle as the graphic exists and the stylesheet is set to the right colour etc. I've tried pointing the styles > header at a different png but it's still missing in the output.

Has anyone else experienced this issue on their HTLM5 Tripane help? I'm wondering if it's a Flare bug (I'm using Flare 2024) or something specific to this Flare project.

Check the medium buttons at the top of the skin window. Perhaps you made the change to the wrong medium.

I thought I'd post the solution to this behaviour: It turned out that the header logo graphic was in a separate SVN repository to the main help project. When I built the help locally this wasn't an issue - my PC had access to the other repo. But Jenkins running on another PC didn't, so the image was missing and the header messed up.
This glitch was born when we split the help for the current release into a tag, while the development release was in the trunk.

Doh!, as Homer would say.
