Logo + Search bar in side bar, instead of header

Good day,

to gain length on my main page, I don't use the header frame.
But I still want to use our company logo and search bar.
Is there a possibility to show both in the side bar?

Not natively in the skin file, but you could probably move them in the client with jQuery.
