Downloaded the Flare 2024 R2 update but when attempting to install, received the error message: "Application Running - Please close the following application before continuing: McAfee Framework Host (Process Id: 5716)"
Disabled McAfee Real-Time Scanning but this did not resolve the issue. Still unable to install update.

One of our team (on Windows 10) had the dreaded "Setup Cancelled" message when she tried to upgrade. We've run through all the typical tricks: restart computer, uninstall Flare, uninstall .NET SDK, install as admin... None have worked, and now she cannot reinstall Flare 2024 either! We'll be raising a support call of course, but are other Flare users also having problems? We can't afford to have an entire team of writers risk having their work stop just so we can see if this installation issue is isolated to this writer.

I was finally able to install the update after doing a safe reboot, pausing McAfee, and then perform the install.
Hopefully the installer can be improved to avoid these situations.
