Hi!
The CodeSnippet option could be helpful, but I am looking to include ~14 Batch Scripts in separate Topics using CodeSnippets...
However the BatchScripts are liable to change, so I do not want to copy and paste text into the CodeSnippet - that would be too painful...
It would be super helpful to be able to provide the CodeSnippet with a link to the Batch Script file that would get the contents of the file at the point of generation, in a similar way to how MadCap htm files can use Snippet files.
I have had a look and fear that this is simply not possible at the moment with current MadCap solution...
The only way I can think of would be to write another Batch Script to take the Batch Script files and generate the MadCap.htm files including the CodeSnippet with text inserted copied from the target Batch file...
Have a great day!
Can you use CodeSnippets to show text from a separate file?

OK....
So I now have a Batch Script that merges the following:
When I generate output as HTML Help, the output is fine apart from the fact that all values are listed as Missing variable reference...
When will MadCap get the Code-Snippet to work as a piece of TEXT that is NOT to be processed as MadCap Flare XML construct!!!
So close, and yet so, so, so far away from being useful!

- Start-Lines to open the Code-Snippet
A Flare Variable Set File (with the XML Declaration removed, as Flare couldn't cope with this in the Code-Snippet!)
End-Lines to close the Code-Snippet
