Styling for printed topics from web outputs
Hello -- Is it possible to customize the styles and page layout for printed topics generated from HTML5 outputs? Any advice would be much appreciated!
Re: Styling for printed topics from web outputs
Set up your styles in the @print medium, as that will be used when you print from a web browser.

It works! Thanks for the tip! BTW, do you know if it's possible to apply page layouts to printed topics?
Thanks again!

Nope. Sorry, page layouts are just for PDF output, not printed-on-the-fly-from-a-webpage PDF output. There's only a limited amount of styling you can do with the print medium. The only way to ensure you get properly formatted and organised PDFs would be to create a PDF target and make that PDF available to your users with a button in the interface. You could create PDF targets for individual chapters and link those from the documentation, and create a batch target that builds not only your online output, but your PDF targets too.
