Background color lost when using Rich Text formatting

Post by JudyH »

I have a rectangle. It has a gradient background. It looks good.

I add text. That also looks good.

I want to emphase one word of the text, so I \"bold\" it.

The rectangle no longer looks good. The rectangle is still shaded, but the text proper has a white background and the look is unacceptable.

Is there any way to maintain consistent shading while taking advantage of the RTF feature?

Hello,

I see that over 400 users have viewed this issue, but no one has posted an answer. I experienced the problem immediately upon installing Mimic. Is this simply a bug in the program? If so, why hasn't it been addressed?

Thanks for your time.
