Update Concept Set [....] Error

Morning

I keep getting the error that says \"Update Concept Set [Object reference not set to an instance of an object]\" whenever I delete anything from my project. I got it earlier when I deleted 3 Targets and I just got the pesky thing again when I deleted an image I'd captured using Capture and placed in my proejct. Right-click, delete and then the error (always twice for each delete).

Ideas please? I'm sure it's something simple and not life threatening, but it's irritating me at any rate!

Thanks :)

Edit - going mad, already posted this once. Apologies. I guess I'll raise a support call.

I'm guessing you had something you've deleted linked using concept keywords.

Open the concept explorer and see if that sheds some light on the subject.

Yes I thought that too. Unfortunately the Concept Explorer sheds no light on it - it's happening even on brand new Projects. I've got a support ticket in the system so hopefully I'll get it sorted soon. :)

I'm also getting this error when inserting a picture. Flare prompts me about replacing one .png graphic with another of the same name. When I accept the prompt, the "Update Concept Set (Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error appears twice. Then, the replacement occurs. Is this a sign of corruption or a know issue?

Well my issue is a known one but yours might be unique! Do you have the Concept Window open when you get the error? If so, close it, save your project and then close Flare. Reopen Flare (double check the Concept Window really is gone) and retry the action that was giving you the error.

If the error is gone then it's the same problem I was having and it's been raised with MadCap Support (however please do add a bug report). I find Flare behaves much more reasonable without the Concept Window open for some reason.
