Here's my situation: An in-house utility auto-generates over 5000 htm files for one of our products. I would like to run these through Flare to produce a more user-friendly output. But the biggest gain would be the ability to search through that many files (which we do not offer for various reasons, and third-party search tools like Zoom aren't an option at this time).
However, I'm concerned that the files would have to be converted to XML by Flare to be included in the search data when generating the (WebHelp) output. If that is true, is a batch conversion currently available and I'm just not seeing it, or if not, is one on the radar for a future version?
Thanks
Must convert htm files to xml to be included in search?

You could leave them the way there are and the search may work, but If you wanted to do a batch conversion, then I would suggest that you look at Madcap Analyzer. Analyzer has the ability to convert html files into Flare xml files.
